Comment:

Worst teacher ever. Teaches off a slide and never takes the time to clearly explain problems or write them out. Amazing that he shows up, teaches only off a slide, goes home, and still gets paid. Expect homework and attendance is basically mandatory.

He tests on problems that are not covered in the homework. He teaches from a powerpoint and only writes five problems on the board each class. Basically, you have to teach yourself how to do calculus. I would try to find a better teacher if possible. Otherwise, don't miss any classes and get a 100 on every assignment and you can pass with a C.

Being a former Calc student, I felt soo bad for my fellow peers. I mean this professor went over related rates in ONE CLASS and literally tested them the next class on top of additional material. If that doesn't say something, he also never takes the time to write out problems(which is crucial to math comprehension).

Have you ever wanted to teach yourself college level Calculus? If so, you're in luck, Ron Page is here to let you do just that! Thanks to the internet, Professor Page has figured out a way to get a paycheck without actually teaching ANYTHING. Prepare to read the textbook and teach yourself because Page won't teach you anything. AVOID!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! He used the generic Pearson Powerpoint to "teach" the class and NEVER wrote anything on the board. How do you learn Calculus from that!? Homework, quizes, & projects were easy but exams were out of this world difficult. Prepare to teach yourself! Even if you get A's on everything but do poorly on the exam, expect to fail.

Worst mistake in my life was taking a 8-week course with him. Quizes are HARD, tests are HARDER, Exam was HARDEST. Too many tests and not worth all the trouble. the exam is 40% of the grade so if you mess up on that you are screwed. I worked infinite number of hours on correcting and getting perfect grades in exams and tests and they were worth 20%

College Algebra, 8 week course, all online. SUPER nice guy. I would gladly re-take the professor, but I will never do another 8-week math course again. FYI, he delineates grades on the 2s, not the 10s (92-100 is an A, 82-91 is a B, etc.). Don't buy the book, it's a waste of $.

Online was a Nightmare! He said @ end of term only 1 in 3 even pass the Online 8 wk class yea that's a lot of help to me now!? Maybe I don't have time to dedicate 30+hrs a week for 1 class when I have 4 others + work, but I loved Math all my Life until this class!Stay AWAY from any 8 week Online Math class by him. Hardest I've ever worked for a C.

Took his online 8-week class..worst mistake I ever made. He is very nice, don't get me wrong, very helpful too. The quizzes can be retaken but were extremely hard. The tests were pretty hard too. Used math lab, after a million exams and quizzes 40% of the grade depends on the final, which is just crazy. So if you bum the final you are done.

I took his online class in the Fall. Professor Page replies e-mails very quick and he gives you very details explanations. The instructor is doing an excellent job; the Mathlab on the other hand is quite disappointing. If I have another choice, I would have taken his lecture class.

Took the 8 week online class. 6 Tests, 12-13 quizzes, homework problems, and cumulative final. Must stay on top of the work to do well. I got an A only after dedicating 117+ logged hours.

I highly recommend taking his online class. He is very fair and answers email quickly. 5 chapter tests, 2 quiz each but you get 5 tries for the quiz. Uses mathxl for the class. I bought the book and didn't use it once. I use only mathxl. He's a great teacher!

ONLINE CLASS: you can take quizzes up to 10 times until you get 100%. test can only be taken once but pretty much just like quizzes. 6 chapter tests, 2 quizzes to each chapter and a final. may need help if don't understand math but he answers fairly quickly via email and adjusts grades if you question them in a fair manner. better than others

i took the elementary algebra refresher class online with Mr. Page. there are 11 quizzes and a final but he cancelled the final which was a big chunk of the grade so all you had to do was the 11 quizzes which were pretty easy. keep up with your quizzes though because he will drop you if you get too far behind (more than 2 quizzes).

Some difficulties with the software but the professor is very reasonable about it. The class consists of Chapter Quizes and Chapter Tests, as well as a final covering all 7 chapters. It is a great class to take online!

Despite the few technical issues with the software he is very fair and will remove any late penalty to your grade due to technical issues. He very nice and I would recommend anyone to take this guy's class if online classes are necessary. Just be aware of the software issues time to time and everything else should be fine.

Prof is nice but the online course had a lot of technical difficulties. I didn't know if I would pass or fail until practically the final because of them. He is very fair though and everything turned out ok. I would say take him but in person not online.

Took this class online. If you read and understand the material, the tests and quizzes should be easy. We had a quiz and test per chapter; 7 chapters total. Uses iLrn - had some difficulties with that interface while test taking, but problems were resolved and he was very understanding.
