I have taken sculpture 2 and advance sculpture with Professor Gonzalez. Out of all my classes this was definitely my favorite. Hes easy-going and easy to talk to about your projects. Hes really helpful when it comes to creating ideas for your project. Great class would take it again.

there have been only two professors that have inspired me here, and professor gonzalez is one of them. he makes you consider thoughts and your ideas and gives you the ability to live them out. this professor taught me how to 'see' the world around me, and to think about my connection with it. take his class. beautiful man, true artist.

With a demeanor that slightly resembles a cat, professor Gonzalez is an incredibly talented artist and mentor. Take to heart what he tells you because he knows what he's talking about. Also pay attention to what he says, although softly spoken he is hilarious. Finally, if you get a moment, check out his art in his office. It's all fascinating.

He gives you a lot of space for creativity. He is incredibly receptive and offers intelligent and sensitive feedback if you solicit them. I never thought very highly of the work of my previous art teachers. He would be the first that I genuinely respect. He is a passionate artist and a veteran in sculpture from whom you can learn a lot.

i definitely had fun in this class but you will need to come in after class and put in extra hours for your pieces. In this class you will mold your pieces from clay, begin the plaster process by creating molds and then actually creating your piece, but don't worry the professor is always there for you if you need help.

This professor gives students more independence in their work and does not just assign several unimaginative projects with little opportunity for personal expression. He talks to students in a way that makes them feel valued as fellow artists, not simply as subordinate learners. He cares about students and their personal artistic growth.

Professor Gonzalez is an amazing guy. He is always there to help and is very understanding. I took Sculpture II. I loved this class, because it was interesting and easy. The time commitment was minimal, but the final project was still rewarding. Great for an easy Aesthetic credit. You don't need any prior sculpting experience!
