Professor Weatherston is BY FAR the BEST professor I have ever encountered. She is caring and ALWAYS eager to help you get on track. Though her classes can be challenging due to all of the in-depth discussions, she makes them very relevant to social issues. She is a truly inspirational woman, and you will leave classes both satisfied and furious.

She is really nice and helpful. I was really scared before taking this class but she was available to help me anytime I needed her help. She has a great energy. I never liked fiction before but she made every class very interesting. I'm glad I took her class.

Professor Weatherston is a terrible professor if you want to learn. She assigns WAY too much homework which includes about two/three hours of reading, and then writing multiple paragraphs on each. It's almost as if she enjoys ripping apart your essays and homework assignments. I will never use the information learned throughout my life. DO NOT TAKE

She is a very nice professor, probably the nicest one of all. She is a bit hard on grading essays though. The reviews on here weren't bluffing in terms of difficulty. If you spend LOTS of time on your essay you may pull off an A-, but I doubt it. Of course, its all up to your writing ability. I dnt think your writing will really improves at the end

Prof. Weatherston is fabulous, but you should only take her if you're actually going to school to learn (hey, some of us actually did) and like to be intellectually challenged. If you would lose an IQ contest against, say, a bowling ball, there are far easier professors to take. Also, maybe you don't belong in college. Just a thought.

My Blackboard Entry on Rosemary: Dr. Weatherston is one of the finest professors at the university, maybe even the entire world. She is extremely dedicated and personable; always willing to help students and spends more time in Briggs than she does at her actual home. We heart Harold Bloom ;)

Although a tad strange, she makes you think about things you normally take for granted. She is extremly bright and helpful, but she will not take any crap. You must earn your grade by keeping up with the readings and participating in class. She is definately one of the best English profs.

Takes diffucult texts and makes them much more bearable. Probably one of the most knowledgeable English Professors at the University, especially when it comes to modern lit. I recommend you taking her at any chance you can get. HOT.
