If you're going for a C.A. or C.G.A. designation, Johnston has a lot to offer. He is up to date on many of the new standards being implimented in the fields and will highlight all of the important ones with regard to the class you're taking. Good lectures (learned a lot in them). However, he isn't clear sometimes with Mid-term/Final material.

Very helpful, fun accounting teacher, which is rare to find. Actually cares if you understand the information or not. Highly recommended professor to have for accounting. Is now retired but is teaching the Intro Actg class in the Executive MBA course at the University of Windsor.

Comment:
One of the best business / accounting profs of all time. Now retired but teaches as a sessional. If you have any interest in accounting you should try to schedule him. Definitely unique in his passion for accounting!

A bit confusing, spends a lot of time on some things and rushes through others. Very fair exams! Definitely go to class and do the Brief Exercises.
