Comment:
Dr. Piers is a fantastic prof and is a great lecturer. He explained the content well and is easy to talk to if you need help. His tests are extremely fair, consistent, straightforward, and are worded well and I never felt pressured for time doing them. He is also a very kind marker and I would highly recommend taking a class with him if possible.

The course itself is difficult but Piers made it interesting. Hes well respected in the department and he really knows his stuff. Great guy to have as a contact. Go to lectures, put effort into your labs and study for your exams and youll be okay

Very Funny Prof! He's approachable after you get the courage to see him. Very easy class, exams straight forward. However, the labs are brutal. I spent more time writing the labs than studying for exams. Matt Hobbs is a hard marker. Karl is fair, Javier is easier and Jack just gave you a 90+. Finished with a B+ because I got a 70 in the labs =(

A good prof. Makes you work but if you aren't prepared to do some work why the hell are you in university in the first place?

Very intense. An excellent professor for graduate level courses. Undergraduates will be intimidated.
