Herr Strahl was one of the warmest teachers I have ever encountered. The trip to Munich in 1997 was great and such a wonderful experience! Start saving your $$$ now. I think the class was really well taught and the textbook was good too. In class exercises were fair. Tests were fair. Homework was fair.

Herr Strahl Ist Wunderbar!!!=] he got that whole EUROPEAN thing in Teaching !! I mean Being Austrian and of that background where German is Spoken, he knows alot about it!! very nice guy, very helpful, demonstrates alot and brings food too!! =]

I had a great experience in 2201 and 2202. Strahl always was clear. In my classes, rarely would he speak English, but if you didn't get something, he would explain it in German, but kind of act it out. My classmates were all really close and Herr Strahl would always joke with us. It was comforting to see a teacher try to be a friend while teaching.

Herr Strahl is the most hilarious teacher I have ever had at CoD! Not only that, but he is definately one of the most friendliest, kindest, most knowledgable, and devoted instructors at that institution. Don't let his first day of speaking only German scare you! He is a fantastic teacher and I recommend him above anyone else for any German course.

Excellent teacher. Very organized and does a phenomenal job explaining material. His test and quizzes are all very easy, just make sure you pay attention and do the homework on a regular basis and you'll be okay.

Probably the best teacher at COD. He loves what he does and that reflects in his teaching. He was born to teach German. He was the reason for me developing a love for the language and its culture. If you do your work his class will be nothiing more then pure enjoyement. He is an awsome teacher

Herr Strahl is such a great professor in so many ways but to name just a few..Anyone that takes his courses knows that he was born to teach German.It makes the class so enjoyable to know that he loves teaching. He really prepared me for living in Germany.

You do have to work for this class, but if you keep up with the work (which is not difficult or too much) it is easy to get an A. He is the best german teacher I have ever had, and one of the best all-around teachers.

Rarely have I come across a professor who teaches with the same enthusiasm and love for students, than that of Herr Strahl. An amazingly funny and productive teacher. Most of all his teaching style (education over grades) is inspiring.
