Lovely lady. Really cares about her students. I looked forward to going to class every day and learning the material. Everything except the tests are ridiculously easy to get full/almost full points on. Tests aren't really hard, either, so don't let the in-class tests w/ her vs online w/ Masland deter you. It's worth it to take them in class.

No exaggeration, she is the best professor I have ever had. She actually uses classtime to teach you what you need to know. Definitely expects you to do your part, but she holds up her end of the bargain. This is not a read to teach yourself class. I have never learned so much. And she deeply cares about her students. Your human beings, not numbers

Dr. Gagnon is a great professor who is super understanding. Her tests aren't hard if you study and you can bring in a giant notecard which I would type ALL my notes on for that unit. Lots of optional assignments that can only help you.

She is the best professor I've had. She allows one 5x8 note card to be used on each of the first 3 tests and on the final, she allows those 3 note cards to be used again. They are all multiple choice. She lets you choose the hw you want to do. She doesn't keep attendance but go on the days her calendar says classwork, they have points like the hw.

Dr. Gagnon is great! She is extremely caring and very knowledgeable. She provides a lot of options if you miss classwork/homework or a quiz and gives extra credit at the end. She even lets you use a notecard on each exam and the final is optional. You'd have to try and fail this class and you learn valuable insight on teaching. Take her!

Loved this class! Gagnon is a great professor and I learned a lot. We had a few homework assignments, online quizzes from textbook readings, and 3 exams with an optional cumulative exam. If you study the information and show up for lectures, then you'll do great

Dr. Gagnon really cares about her students. There is not much homework, but you get points for participation in class. The tests are the hard things to pass. Study the PP notes, read the book, and go to any and all help sessions.

To be quite honest, I hated this class. I skipped over 50% of the lectures and still passed the class with an A without taking the final exam. Do your field experience, make your note card for each test while using the book, take all the quizzes and you'll be fine. It's basically general psychology with a slight teaching application. Good luck!

That Gag-non lady is really amazing! She uses personal stories to explain theories. Can be long-winded in lectures, but her personality makes up for it. You can tell that she really cares for her students and wants them to do well. She lets you use a big notecard on all her exams-- major plus

I adore Dr. G. She's extremely knowledgable, witty, and always hilarious. I worked decently hard for a B but its very manageable. She lets you use a notecard on tests which helps. Lots of extra credit for coming to class and doing small activities. The class is all lecture + slideshow but she's so interesting and funny. She's the best! Take her!

Dr. Gagnon has been one of the best professors I've had. Her lectures are interesting, but be ready to cover a lot of material. You can tell that she truly cares about her students and the material she's teaching. She has a lot of experience outside of being a professor which I think makes her even more passionate.

Dr. Gagnon is a great professor, but her class is difficult. Grade is almost entirely based off 3 tests (with an optional final that will replace the lowest one) that are tricky. However, you are allowed to have a note card during the test which is helpful. She is a great lady, very intelligent and passionate. Extra credit is available.

kind professor but how she determines final grades irritates me. The tests make up 75% & there are only three of them, each one is worth a quarter of your final grade-which I think is a bit ridiculous. Her lectures are very boring and I had to keep myself a wake half of the time. She is a sweet person though and she tries but it's just boring.

Dr. Gagnon is an awesome professor! She's so understanding of students' schedules, especially with field experience and will extend due dates for snow days, etc. Her tests were pretty easy and she allows you to use a notecard. (Do this. It doesn't take time and is a good study tool.) Study the key terms in the textbook.

Dr. Gagnon (Gon-yo) is a great professor! She's good at making the lecture interesting and gives great insight into what we might experience in schools. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities (mostly attending events on campus), and she lets you use a 5x7 card on the exams. The only problem I have is that communication is through the TA.

Dr. Gagnon (pronounced Gon-yo, it's French-Canadian) is AWESOME. She is so much fun to listen to during lecture and she is very intelligent. You will learn a lot in her class, and on tests, you get to use a 5x7 note card (front&back). She takes random in-class assignments as attendance, so just go. You'll enjoy it anyway! She's funny too!
