Comment:

I had Tweedie for arguably the most boring module of the IWA class. He's funny and quirky, but it goes over most people's heads. We had eight reading responses about some awful (long and BORING and dense) readings and a final project that we had very little direction. It was an interesting experience nonetheless, and I got an A, so I can't complain

Comment:

Tweedie is a very knowledgable man. He will crack corny jokes during class. Class is mostly power points. He also brings in a lot of other materials to help us learn. He is a tough grader, but it is incredibly fair. He adds comments to your papers so you understand what you did wrong. I would recommend him!

I really liked him. He was funny and made class interesting. He uses power points to teach, but its not boring. He even brought stuff into class for us to interact with to better understand lessons. He challenges the way you think and write. I don't think he's an easy or hard grader. He's pretty fair. I'd recommend him.

Tweedie is the man. My go-to guy for all my questions. He is friendly, smart, helpful, and really knows what he's talking about. He appreciates creativity and risk-taking. I would take him again and again.

Classroom itself is interesting, but has the dumbest attendance policy I've ever seen. Participation takes into account attendance ONLY, nothing else. Missed two classes and suddenly 10% of my grade is a C. Makes no sense. Hard grader, rub him the wrong way early and he'll hold it against you for the rest of the semester.

Prof Tweedie's class was actually really fun. We had to do readings every week, but most were interesting and quite useful. He gets kind of confused easily, but in a way it helps you clear up things in your writing. He challenges you and makes you do group critiques, but that's all a part of being a writer. I would definitely take him again.

Professor Tweedie, is not a good professor at all and the worst I ever had. He does discuss your papers but does not give you concise clarity to the methods to undstand what he teaches. I would not recommend taking him at all!

MA Core 1 Class - He is a really nice guy. He really wants you to learn in his class and is very helpful if you don't understand a project. Always willing to meet with you and talk about your project, and gives helpful feedback. Projects are fun as well, always do your best and you will learn a lot.

Tweedie is a nice guy, dont get on his bad side or he'll be rude towards you. Real hands on, class is interesting and keeps you involved. Multiple papers weekly, you dont know your grade until the end. He sometimes goes a little over board on assignments but overall good class, Easy if you put in a little work.

Great guy. Most definitely my favorite class of my first semester. I seemed to be the only person in my class who actually enjoyed his teaching style and grading policy. Arrange a personal meeting if you have trouble with ANYTHING and get to know him!!

I liked prof Tweedie. Though many found him boring, I felt his lessons were well thought out and kept me interested. Tough grader, but I got a lot out of the class which is what really matters. I definitely recommend, especially if you honestly want to develop your writing skills. If your looking for a bird course, this is not it.

Prof Tweedie is an excellent professor!!! I took this class as an elective in my final semester because I love writing and wanted to improve my hobby as much as possible before graduation. Yes, this class is time consuming but his feedback is second to none of any professor I have ever taken. Contrary to others, he is not even close to being rude!!

This professor was actually good and very dedicated to his students' writing. He does make you work to your full potential,so don't try to just hand anything in. The work load is heavy and he does give you a lot of feed back, but if you try(hard) you will succeed. If your grammar is bad, you might have to attend the Tweedie mini lesson

I really enjoyed this class. At first I didn't think I would like it because Prof. Tweedie gave us a little too much freedom, however he is a really great guy and gives great assignments that are difficult in the begining but fun in the end The only way you can get a bad grade in this class is if you don't do the assignments. It's an easy A.
