Dr. Carr is awesome! He's super cool and he knows how to teach and make it interesting. His jokes are hilarious. 10/10 would recommend. If you don't take a class with THE Dr. Carr, you're missing out, honey.

The class was a pre- req, so I did not have much choice. Science is not my best subject, and he did little do help further my understanding of the subject matter. If you love science then I' sure you would love him as a proff, he's not a bad guy. But, if you're gonna need help I'd suggest that you seek it elsewhere. Sink or swim.

Dr. Carr is an amazing guy. He really cares about his students. He would never admit this, but he cried one day in class because he cares so much about us. Only bad thing is that his lectures consist of doing one or two problems, and him talking about sports with us. He does his best to be relatable, but at times, it can be at the expense of class

Since AU is such a small school; you most likely will receive Dr. Carr for your Gen chem I and II. You just have to embrace the suck.... This guy is so caring, but does not know how to dumb down the material he is teaching. If he is in a bad mood he tends to be very sarcastic and takes it out on his own students. Youtube will be your best friend.

I like Dr. Carr as a person. He's very funny and a caring guy. However, his way of teaching is very bad. At least for me. For some he is great. Homework is online. Tests are rough. Almost making me reconsider my major. I just believe the class is non-applicable based on how he approaches his lectures.

Dr. Carr is a good person, but he can bring some moods to class. I think he genuinely cares about his students, but when the whole class is struggling he tends to blame them instead of taking into account his teaching. Very hard class. Material is difficult and requires time. Tough grader

Dr. Carr is a good guy, and a good teacher. However, he is indeed "moody" as other students have described, and this can influence his judgment too much. He often seems to be on the brink of some kind of breakdown... rough childhood maybe?

I thought that Professor Carr was nice and he knows how to have fun in class. I wish that I had more professors like him. Not everyone likes him; sometimes he might seem arrogant, but really he is just funny. I don't think that he is that full of himself. Take him so you can decide for yourself. He does not enforce attendance, which is also nice.
