Comment:

Best professor I have had in my college career. He only teaches in the spring so take him if you can! I have never felt more safe and confident in learning math and using new skills. After a bad experience in 107A, I was nervous but he makes the material very easy to understand and he is so helpful. I will genuinely miss this class!

Chill Professor, lectures are good so don't miss class. Got A's on all exams just by doing the homework and he gives practice problems. Not sure if it was just me, but compared to Math 17 and Math 107A there was less writing on the homework! TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Very nice professor. He knows what he's doing and explains the material very well. His tests are easy and he's lenient on the answers you put on your homework that he gives you a week to finish.

This class made Calculus seem far easier than I previously expected. Pay attention in class, do the assigned homework, and try the problems in class and it is easy to pass. I passed each of the midterms and finals with very little studying simply out of experience with problems over time. He does not require a text book and gives equations on tests

This guy is one of the greatest math teachers I have taken in my academic career. Took two sections of of pre-cal with him so far, and I wouldn't mind taking every math class I ever need from him. He teaches with crystal clear explanation and best of all he uses NO TEXTBOOK.

Farrand is by far the greatest math teacher I have ever had. Prior to this semester, I absolutely hated calculus, struggled tremendously in Math30. Farrand doesnt use the book, he teaches his own way. Explains everything perfectly, draws perfect circles, and he single-handedly is responsible for inspiring me to get a Math Minor. Take this prof!!
