Scott is possibly the finest Teaher that I have ever had. He has dramaticlly changed my opionins of economics and of life in general. With out him I feel I would just be poor.

He covers the material, you learn your terms, you take traditional tests. I guess you learn the material, but he needs to stop worrying about pleasing the students and develop his own teaching style. When I took him, he taught like a high school teacher.

Comment:

He has a very clear syllabus in both classes, usually 3 or 4 tests. Has hard m.c. questions. Allows for extra credit. He does let class out early, but the material doesn't need long drawn out explanations like in other classes. He forms friendships with students outside of class, fine role model.

Mr. Samuels would be an excellent teacher if he could straighten up his apporach of teaching. He knows what he's teaching. But he's always looking at the clock and at time, let the students go early.
