Had him for Developmental Psych. Lectures were USELESS and he wasted so much time during class. Unfortunately, attendance is part of your grade so you pretty much have to go. Some of the online quiz questions are not even in the book. Tests questions are nit-picky. Bottom line: not a great professor, but a funny guy!

oh my gosh, i have never laughed so hard in my life. mr. scott is awesome--such a great teacher and a really nice guy too. i always looked forward to going to class just to see what crazy things he'd talk about that day. i'm just sad that he doesn't teach any other classes at hope.

Vanderstoep is a funny guy. I learned a lot in his class, although most of the classtime was spent telling silly unrelated stories. If you don't mind doing much of the learning outside of class and listening to his stories in class, then take Vanderstoep.

Dr. Vanderstoep taught a very good foundation of psychology. I had his class at 8am, and actually enjoyed waking up to go to class. I'm currently in graduate school, and my psychology courses are the easiest ones because of his class.
