He's a great teacher always understanding. This was a new class and he taught it well. A couple of projects which I liked and he was a really funny professor and understood students. gave fair amount of extra credit (but wont tell you that its extra credit) and really wants students to pass.

Dr. Murphy is the absolute BEST professor I have EVER had. He cares about each and every one of his students and makes me want to be a better psychology student. I have never written a rate my professor review before but I could not, not rate him. He cancelled class once and I felt depressed. I always want to go to his class. Amazing guy all around

His tests are online and extremely difficult. Even when I looked up every answer I STILL failed every time. He was a harsh grader to me on the online discussions and I never understood why. It seemed like he didn't like me to ask for his help. He practically brushed me off. I wanted to take this class more than anything. It was ruined for me.

A must have! Not only does he play awesome music during class but he also has an awesome accent to go with! The only issue I had in the class were the exams which could be a bit wordy and confusing to answer so make sure to study. All that said, you will be grateful to have him as a teacher.

This guy is great. Not only is he enthusiastic about the topic, but he really wants people to engage. Encourages questions and conversations, will help you in whatever way he can, you just have to ask. Easy workload, participation is key. Easily one of the best prof. in the psych department.

I loved having Dr.Murphy. He is a great professor and will really help you out. He is funny and puts the tests online so you can get a better grade. Doesn't give excessive work and involves the class in discussions. I would definetly recommend his classes.

Shane is a great professor. I want to make a point to say how much I appreciate his optimism. Even after a LONG day, it's pleasant to take a class taught by him with his great attitude and smile. He assigns just the right amount of work, makes the material interesting, and he is a fair grader. Bottom line: show up, do the work, and you'll do fine.

such a great teacher! i have never learned so much stuff so easily.. i can honestly say i didnt even study for his tests and got A's on both. lectures are online and all the questions on the tests are in the lectures. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)

This course was incredibly easy. He just uses straight textbook. One "project" that could be done over a working lunch, with music on. 5 course meetings. 70% work online, which is like a paragraph discussion post every other day, and 4 quizzes - all straight from the book. You do not need to do the reading. In class quiz is totally open book
