The worse teacher and class I have taken by far. She made an easy class difficult by assigning lots of homework, due every single week, she literally makes you write essays about the lectures every week, do not take this teacher! most pointless class I have ever taken, didn't learn a thing.

Professor Layton is very easy to talk to. She's willing to work with you and pushes you to do your best. For the online class, there are plenty of assignments, which serve as opportunities to boost your grade. However, like every class, the tests make up a large portion of your average, so if your test grades suck, your average will, too.

She was very helpful. Expect written assignments. Book use was minimal, expect to take more from her lectures and outlines. If you study the outlines, you will do better. The lectures I provided, I strongly recommend listening if you're in the online class.

(8) six paragraph papers, (2) time-consuming computational projects, lengthy math assignments on MyOMLab, hours of video lectures + outlines + articles, and tests that are essentially two tests in one that take roughly 2-3 hours. She is very nice, but this class has a RIDICULOUS amount of work required. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE.

It was a rather Interesting course, but very demanding. There's an abundance of assignments that are 1 12 page papers that are required. The test questions are contradicting and confusing. Overall, very interesting lectures, demanding assignments, and confusing test. On the fence on if I would ever take her again, but I liked the lectures.

She loves what she is doing and she will make you love it also. She is extremely loud and obnoxious which is a great thing especially if you have early classes. Take her, just pay attention and go to class unlike what I did. I still like her even though I was lazy and didn't do as well as I wanted :).

Okay for all the people who didn't like her, I'll bet that you didn't go to class and received a bad grade. I loved her. She is very entergetic and the tests were very easy if you went to class. Don't bother to buy the book, you don't need. I still have mine that I never used. She is big on attendance and NO CHEATING. Take her, it'll be fun.

She was awesome! I had it at 8 and she actually kept me awake and interested. She is really fun and cares a LOT about what she teaches-she taught me BA 1000 and it was refreshing to have a teacher who does something besides just read off the ppt slides-also her slides are meant as a basis for note taking not STAND ALONE notes, u fill them in class.

Don't take at 8am, she's a morning person. I got use to the way she taught and how to study did better as it went along. Take good notes and study atleast two nights before and you'll do fine. I got b's when I studied. Attendance is MANDATORY!!!!
