Unprofessional with a poor attitude. Lectures are vapid and insipid, which she overcompensates for by giving hard tests. Surprisingly literate with few other redeeming qualities. Avoid.

She is knowledgeable and civil towards students but also unprofessional and unreliable. She is unclear as to what it is essential to take from the class, always very late to class, and never timely with grading of tests and homework. Always goes off on tangents during lecture. Overall, glad I took the class but disappointed in how it was handled.

She is knowledgeable and very civil towards students, but she is also an unprofessional and unreliable professor. Always showed up to class at least five minutes late, never graded homework or tests in a timely manner, and wasn't always clear as to what it was essential to take from the class. Always got off on irrelevant tangents during lecture.

Mrs Vance is a very good but very hard instructor. Her test's are sometimes a nightmare but her grading scale curve evens it out. She also dumps alot of work on you too. If you apply yourself and let her know your interested you will do fine. If you think you gonna just breeze through, drop the course now.

SHe is so great you will like her when you warm up to her. At first she seems like a very hard teacher, but if you get to know her you will realize she is tough becuase she wants you to do well. You have to study in her classes because she isn't one to just hand out grades.
