Comment:

Monotone voice, but very interesting. Realizes when material is dry, and responds to student feedback. Laid back and easy to talk to. Really nice guy. Not much to be graded on (One group project, Midterm, and final are most of it). Come to class, read the lecture notes, and maybe skim the book, then you should pass fine.

Great person and great professor. Extremely laid-back with a monotone voice. If you pay attention in class and put in a little work, you should get by without much difficulty.

Comment:

Dolins is a great guy, but I found this class pretty boring and I didn't learn all that much. The midterm and final both had pretty unfair questions, but Dolins always grades easy. Class was very unorganized overall, he came up with the projects on the spot, and made the test questions the day-of or night before.

Class consists of a midterm & final with a little group project. The exams are fairly hard but he grades EXTREMELY EASY. As long as you put the normal effort into studying for the exams then you will get an A or B. We also got out early on many occasions.

No homework and no labs which is actually a bad thing. I personally didn't write a single line of SQL (in a database class) except for the 2 lines I wrote on paper for the final. Very NICE grader though, but I didn't learn anything in the class.

took an honors seminar- history of the blues, and it was awesome. he has a great sense of humor, and loves his work, and the blues. owns his own record label, and knows what he is talking about.
