Incredible! Among my favorite professors at this university. He gets everyone to participate, and you can earn participation points by doing extra assignments related to the text, so pretty much everything you do is helping you learn the material. He makes the course interesting and genuinely cares about helping his students.

The class I took was on the Framers and the Constitution. He's a nice enough guy but quite the nationalist. He never voiced his views outright, but it's clear he doesn't take Jefferson's or Madison's view of the separate and sovereign states. I would take him for a class again but it wouldn't be in US history.

He is amazing. He keeps you on the edge of your seat, eager to learn as much as possible. It's weird, but he makes history come alive in the classroom. You have to work hard, but it is totally worth it!
