Comment:
He is like, the nicest man ever. He is extremely considerate of students schedules and stress levels. He is HORRIBLE at time management and would often go off on unrelated tangents. Don't expect to follow a syllabus or even any schedule at all because he pretty much just goes with the flow. Class can be boring but it could be worse.

Pinzari was a great person and professor. A big recommendation is to make conversation in his classes to engage more in the class! If you're looking for a professor to be your friend, he's your guy.

Pinzari is a great professor. Do mostly thought paragraphs that are not bad and one group project as the final. He talks for most of the class, mostly stories and other things. He cares about his students and will go that extra mile.

He never stuck to the syllabus, made us by tons of books we barely discussed, and never used the expensive textbook we had to purchase. He is a nice guy outside the classroom but as a teacher he does not know how to relate to his students or teach us anything about children's lit.

children's lit-didn't use the textbook AT ALL, required us to get multiple books after the fact, rambles about unrelated material, passionate about teaching

Comment:
Pinzari's Reading Theory Class was really easy. He is really nice and pretty much just talks all class. It can get boring just listening to him talk but a lot of the information is really helpful if you're planning on teaching. The reading centers were our only grade and we got to decide what we think we earned for a semester grade.

very passionate about teaching, he loves it. rambles a lot about your theoretical future classroom and it may not seem like you learn a lot but if you're planning to teach its a good class

I didn't think he was that bad, although we never got any papers back. And he's way liberal for those that might not appreciate him taking valuable class time to slam the President and try to convince everyone there is no God, but somehow there IS a Santa Claus. I got an A- for doing probably B work. If you participate in class, it helps your grade

yeeaaaah, got nothing back whatsoever, his syllabus is useless, he tends to treat the class as if he is teaching elementrary school again, gets really excited over random stuff, makes you read michael crighton books that you then discuss for 10 min and no connection to children's lit is ever made

WOW only with Pinzari could I get an A++ (NO LIE) for an assignment that supposedly counted as two test grades, receive no papers back with less than an A- on them and receive a B for the final course. Ironic that EVERY other person in my class that I talked to got a B as well. not even a B+! UGH
