"It's simple but not easy." Prof. Saltzman couldn't have been more right & honest. He's clear & helpful & applies his lectures to current events, so those who read & answer the study guides will do well on, if not ace, the tests & will learn more from his lectures. He teaches in a unique way that encourages students to care about their education.

I recommend not taking this professor. I'm guessing he used to be a lot more involved years ago & that he has lost interest because he seemed so careless in our class. If you take this course, the book will be your best friend. Do not expect to get high scores on the tests by what he discusses because 98% of the time it's unrelated to the material.

Saltzman can come across as intimidating at first. However, throughout the course he adjusted the test for us and made our final easy and stress free. We had to read the textbook cover to cover throughout the course and were assigned 8 assignments that related to psychology and everyday life. Overall,you do the work, you come to class,you get an A.

saltzmans class was pretty awesome. he gives u studys guides for every test. no suprise on what your being tested on. and the tests are spread out so you wont have a huge final. i loved that considering i had finals for all my other classes. and class is actually about discussing thebsubject were learning that cnt be taught by the book. take him!!

An amazing class. Professor Saltzman teaches the class through real life aspects. A study guide is given to students in order to enhance the preparation productivity. It's given out as long as the class shows interest and knowledge.It is not a hard class overall,just show up and make sure you read the book(YOU'LL FIND IT JOYFUL AND INTERESTING)

if you enjoy reading take his class. he gives u a study guide to read every 2 weeks for the test the answers are in the book their for you NEED TO READ THE BOOK. to find the questions. the same questions in the study guide are the ones in the test. he talks alot in class so if you dont read the book you wont understand his lecture. :(

Dr. Saltzman is an amazing professor!It's a college class so don't expect an easy A handed to you!He gives a study guide in advance with the exact same questions that will be on the exam all you have to do this read the book and find the answers, if that's considered hard you should go back to high school! One of the best classes I have ever taken! Proffesor Saltzman's passion and knowledge of psychology is impressive i enjoyed how his classroom encourages students to speak their minds it's refreshing because not many teachers can handle such diverse opinions but he seemed to enjoy it all. Dr. Saltzman is an amazing professor.I really recommend his class.People are saying he doesn't teach and just talks about random news.He does that to show students that psychology is in our everyday lives, even when we don't know it.If you study and don't slack off, you'll get an A for sure.
