Smalley's such a sweet old man! He's been at Bridgewater for a long time and loves what he does. He also loves to talk your ear off but his stories are great. He's so into what he talks about and it's adorable. Class was one credit, my one issue was that I had a 5 page paper on top of my other work, but it was really easy.

I only took this professor for a 1 credit class but it was great. So great I took two versions of it. He is such an easy grader you barely have any work. And he is so kind and amazing. Plus you can go on some free trips!

This is the sweetest man you will ever meet. He teaches a bunch of honors colloquia and you enjoy every second of it. There are a few fun projects and other than that he chats about the impact of art and his experience and exciting life! Words can't express how wonderful he is.

Professor Smalley is such an intelligent man. Any class he teaches, he has such passion for. There are no quizzes or anything, just a few brief assignments about the topics discussed in class. You can either choose a research paper or a scrapbook for the end of the semester project. I've had him 3 times and I would take him 100 more.

I took Prof. Smalley for an Honors Colloquia and it was such a great class. I highly recommend him and his classes. For one credit, I learned a lot but it also didn't require a lot of work, plus the small class was nice too. He breaks down the grade fairly and is VERY knowledgeable. He also loves when you introduce him to new artists and people.

I've taken him for several 1-credit colloquia and keep coming back for more. Passionate about the material, whether it's music, Warhol, Pollock, graffiti or Ginsberg. Don't graduate without taking him at least once.
