He is a great teacher and a really likeable guy! I loved his class. He really challenged you to think about what you were learning and apply different events and movements from history to today's world. Don't take his class if you're in college to goof off and not apply yourself, because that's the only way I can see someone not liking his class.

I don't understand why people hate Dr White! He is extremely intelligent, kind, and caring. Probably one of the best professors I have had. Like the other poster said, however, do not take him if you are lazy or unreflective. Also, don't take him if you cannot construct a sentence in English (see below).

I dont know why people hate on Dr. White. He is a very intelligent and sincere man. He cares about the students and is always helpful and lends a smile. Dont take his classes though, if you are too lazy or unreflective to really think about what he has you read. He is fabulous!

All the reviews i have read about this man are ****. This teacher is the**** and i don't care what anyone has to say about it. He is an extremely intellectual, fair, objective man. I have taken his classes twice and i'm going to continue to take courses taught by him.

The man's notes are gold, but his test directions are poor. He docked me 25 points off the midterm for omitting a name in a series when in fact the directions were worded poorly and easily intepreted differently. He would not budge. Good quaker though.

Well, Dr. White is an acquired taste. There is no doubt that this guy is intelligent and cares for his students. His teaching style goes best with students who actually do the readings and reflect upon them. He is excellent in my book.
