NIce, yes. Helpful, no. It's very early in the semester, but come on! I've been to 2 classes, both let out 25 minutes early and all we've done is talk about his life and guess at old instruments. I want to learn to play the piano!!!!!!

Wonderful teacher! He is a wealth of knowledge. Very experienced musically, also coaches kids with their musical careers. So nice, super cool. And you can be late if you have to ... it's usually piano, so even if you're there and he's not, it's just extra practice time! This is my favorite teacher.

Likes to talk, but he'll really help you if you want to learn. He won't do much guided class practice (thank god) so put your headphones on while he's rambling and practice. He's the music department chair and he's brilliant.

I absolutely enjoyed taking piano with him!! I took piano 1, but really should be in piano 2, so he went out of his way to find me music to play. He was always helpful when I have question. He's always late to class, but I don't mind cuz I am too! Very laid back, he really wants us to learn, not just get a grade.

Overall good. Biggest complaint is he grades girls easier than the guys in the class. So if you have a ****, be warned. And don't try to hide it between your legs, because he doesn't buy it. Just don't expect to get an A when you do just about everything right. His secret weapon to give a Bs instead of As is the "dynamics".

Besides being awesome and going out of his way to make sure you understand, I enjoyed his class very much because I fell in love with someone in it. I think the atmosphere during his class made the love that exists now possible. It was a dream going into Piano I. :)

WOW he's definitely one the best music instructors there is for music. His Piano1 is easy and challenging, he helps EVERYONE out. Don't worry about being late, everyone usually gets there before he does. The way he plays piano can melt anyone, it's so beautiful; he wants us to play like that someday

Very helpful... Usually late to class, so don't sweat being a bit tardy. He will bend over backwards to help if you show a willingness to learn the material. He's very patient with the learning process... Great teacher
