Comment:

Awesome professor. He loves his subject and teaches it well. Easy to approach with questions, and his tests are straightforward. You must know the material well, but he tends to only lecture and doesn't make you buy expensive textbooks if he's not going to use them. Plus, if you take Vertebrate Bio, he feeds you on field trips. Beef jerky!

I took his intro class. He is a very good professor and has interesting assignments. He can be a bit idiosyncratic but overall he's an awesome professor. PS: On tests he likes his Flag words and pictures... never forget the picture if you can put one in.

Despite what the majority of the people have written here, I've taken two classes of his now and have gotten good grades. His tests really require you to know the material but he covers it all in lecture, you just need to study. He's a very nice and full of energy professor.

Dr. Goldsmith is not a very good teacher. His notes jump around, and his tests suck. He picks his favorites and then gives them good grades. I don't appreciate that. I would like to feed him to the skinks and the topminnows.

Very disorganized class. He is very biased in his grading and his lectures are very disorganized. He still hasn't answered any my questions even though he spends 5 minutes on them. Labs are way too long and way too boring and very time consuming.

This class is interesting but requires a lot of work.His lectures are not very organized for THIS CLASS, he tends to jump around a lot. His tests are essay and take at least 2 hrs. Lab requries a lot of time. Sometimes i feel the need to gut him.
