Comment:
Professor Soderlind is one of the most enthusiastic teachers that I've had at St. Olaf. He is passionate about what he teaches and quirky. He's always happy to meet with you and talk, just a great guy.He is a fair grader and if you do the readings, worksheets and study for the tests it would be hard to get below a B.

Dr. Soderlind is jolly. He is also many other things: easy-going, funny, likeable, friendly, scatterbrained, ADHD, and astoundingly brilliant. In the words of one of my friends, "He is probably a Time Lord." I learned a lot from him but never found him a difficult or demanding teacher. Take a class from Soderlind. It will be worth it your while.

He is a great man. He is knowledgeable and helps you understand questions and puts your needs first priority. He is kind of unclear when it comes to assignments, but absolutely hilarious.

Great prof! Very interesting and very knowledgeable. He is eccentric but in a good way. Soderlind is funny and makes class and lectures enjoyable and he makes class interesting even when he is talking to non social science majors.

Brilliant, funny, kinda scatterbrained . . . the archetypal eccentric prof. You will laugh and you will learn. I was sorry I could only take one class from him.

The econ prof with the most personality! Super fun and nice, but doesn't think most students are A students - but definitely my favorite econ prof!
