Amazing class. The lectures are so interesting and you learn a lot in this class. Shanker makes every topic interesting and keeps you engaged throughout the whole three hour lecture; he definitely knows his stuff. TA Jeremy is awesome and funny, he also made the class great. Overall, awesome class.

Amazing professor and lecturer ! Dr. Shanker is very engaging and knowledgeable. Lectures with him have never been boring. He loves what he does and this positively affects us students. It was a great course. I would take another course with Dr. Shanker any day!

AMAZING!!!! his lecture is sooo interesting and his stories are soo personal but very valuable, he is funny and makes the class really fun to attend, he is not boring, the online quizes are open book and cam be repeated as many times, and they are on the test, teh TA s are extremley helpful and very nice, so glad i took the classs, one of the bestt

AMAZING! Great prof! very interesting lectures/course. TA's are great, not there to "get" you but to HELP you! BEST COURSE I've taken. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Do the QUIZZES-will get A+ on tests and rest is "history". Take the course! Quizzes are open book on line - easy. Many, many question from quizzes are on the test so DO THE quizzes.

Shanker is pretty much a crazy genius..his lectures are fascinating and entertaining. His level of knowledge and commitment to his work is exceptional. TAs were a bit disorganized, but I don't really blame them, since they have their own studies to focus on. Easy marks if you read the text carefully and do the online quizzes. Highly recommended!

BEST course you will ever take in Undergrad! Shanker is OUTSTANDING, though lectures are not even mandatory, I attended every single one because his lectures are extremely engaging, interactive, and fun. You will learn tons, and the class is an easy A. TAs Jeremy and Ben (TAs) were just as amazing, they made the experience even better. MUST TAKE!

Dr. Shanker is great to listen to and very informative. Also, the TA (Jeremy) is what makes this class worthwhile. The amount of work Jeremy does is incredible and I honestly do not see how the class could be run the way it is without him. I highly recommended this course, because you will care more than just getting good grades.

Prof Shanker is the most intelligent man I ever met and I admire his dedication to children with autism. His TAs Jeremy and Ben are very nice and helpful but are very disorganized in terms of assessments. Wikis were a nightmare. But overall it's a great course and Prof Shanker is really good :)

Awesome Prof! Best Prof ever! Developmental Psyc was such an easy class especially with TA Jeremy Burman! Gives you online quizes that you can do as many times as you want to get 100% and puts some of those questions on the tests! easy marks!Theres also 3discussion questions that you post on moodle based on a book..(i didnt even read the book)= B+

Professor Shanker is amazing, you will never see a prof like him in Psych. He caters to his students and lectures and discusses aspects of development that interest us. Tests and online quizzes are fair and you can get an EASY A. I highly recommend taking a course with prof. shanker. TAs Jeremy and Katy were also REALLY helpful.nothing bad about211

Shanker is AMAZING! A world of knowledge stored inside one man! He really makes the extra effort to ensure that everyone understands what he talks about. Tests (mul. choice) aren't based on lectures, only the text and many ques come from the online practice quizzes. GREAT CLASS! Recommended to anyone who wants to LEARN and not just pass!!

Professor and TAs were great. Although they did go off on tangents sometimes, it was really interesting, and more applicable to what's going around rather than just theory. The tests are all based on the tests and the questions are all from the quizzes anyways, so really not bad, just have to do your readings and the quizzes.

Best class I have ever taken. Shanker AND Jeremy are brilliant AND helpful. The rants on here don't reflect the problems we had last year with software and Jeremy's hospital time. Extra material was a bit much but they CHANGED it to optional! Want to learn something then take this class. Participate and you will get the help you need!
