Physics is a hard class. Period. Out of all of the other physics teachers, he is the easiest. You must study!!! You must keep up!!! He can be funny though. Make sure you do the homework. It will help your grade in the end.

If you are going to take Bose's class be prepared to work very hard. Do WebAssign (extra points)!! Most of the time he expects that you know all the material when he gives a problem to do during class. Number 1 thing about him is that he is very hard on partial credit(quizzes and tests). I survived his class with a C. Lastly, he curves in the end.

I don't why Dr. Bose is getting such a bad rap. He was actually very cool and answered everyone questions. His test are not that hard and with his giant curve you should come out with AT LEAST a C. His examples are sometimes a tad involved but helpful. He is better than the alternatives so take him.

Don't let his stern face, slow walk and serious tone fool you, this guy is hilarious at times and turns out to be pretty cool. Genuinely enjoys teaching physics, curves generously, explains things clearly. Easily one of the best entry-level physics professors at UCF (The rest are actually much worse, trust me). It's hard work but that's physics.

THIS CLASS IS RIDICULOUS! BARELY ESCAPED WITH MY LIFE. DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TEACH. TEXTBOOK IS TERRIBLE. QUESTIONS ARE TRICKY ON THE TEST. CLASS IS INTERSTING BUT HARD. 90% OF HIS CLASS WOULD HAVE FAILED IT HE HAD NOT CURVED THE TESTS AND HOMEWORK ABOUT LIKE 50PTS. I GOT A C WITH A 48%. TERRIBLE PROFESSOR. DO NOT TAKE!!!

He's not terrible but he's not good either. Curved at the end of the semester. Test questions are fairly straightforward and he tells you what chapters the test questions are coming from. If you do the homework and understand it you should be fine. Be careful though as he is tough on partial credit.

This professor is horrendous when it comes to teaching. I mean I dont have that much of a background in physics because my teacher in high school was bad (subsitute teacher). Does not give that much of an in-depth background into each chapter. And he randomly gives problems like we except to know every answer.

Funny guy but doesnt teach worth a crap. Scatterbrain style teaching with mostly examples. His tests arn't too bad so just keep up on you private studying from the beginning and you will get a B easily. Doesn't curve anything at first but at the end of the semester there will be a huge curve so don't worry about not getting a C.

He has no idea what a "review" is. He does not help students out, only for you to study. You have to study a lot on your own for this class.

Bose is a pretty easy prof, he goes over examples all day long. Do the homework, tests are easier than HW. if you suck up he will give you points on your test after the fact (I hated the little prissy punks that would go do this).

Bose is a joke. People only ay they like him because he tells you exactly what is going to be on each test. That's not teaching. He's rude and a big talker, but it's fairly easy to get a good grade. Don't bother with class. just go to the lecture before the exam. Watch, there won't even be any oscillation questions on the final.

Professor Bose is actually one of the best Physics professors you'll have, i mean the material is hard, but get out of high school people, this is a university, he's one of the best, I didn't exactly do the best in the class but he's still a good teacher nonetheles. Definately take him, but be prepared to be called out on some questions.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. You will not understand a word that comes out of his mouth. He will call your questions in class stupid. His tests are impossible. He doesn't teach at all in class...there is absolutely no point in going he just derives equations for 50 minutes.

Dr. Bose doesn't tolerate any crap out of people in his class, he'll humiliate you if he catches you slacking off not paying attention to lecture. THIS IS A GOOD THING. There are almost no disruptions in his class. I had no trouble understanding him, and he was reasonably clear with examples. The hardest professor ever but I enjoyed the class.

The test are easy if you actually understand the homework which he doesn't give too many. He does care if you succeed or not. I wish he was teaching 2049. I can read, and don't need professors reading me powerpoints. Bose teaches. If you want to learn and pass, take Bose. He may call you out though, so watch out.

Doesn't finish examples. Test 1 was graded wrong by the TA, Bose graded them himself, however my grade still suffered. I went to his office to go over the test with him, like magic there were points that he found that I should have gotten. Said he'd go over my test more and for me to go. Had an office appointment and he never showed.

He teaches really well, the only problem is his tests are harder than what is taught. He assigns a mandatory Webassign and optional hw problems from the book, which you should absolutely do and understand. You can tell he has a real passion for what he teaches. He remembers students, so get on his good side.
