Comment:

Very unclear and unorganized for our class. The books she assigns are good reading and thought provoking, but he does not communicate well. Felt as though our class was an afterthought she was not quite prepared for. Also, wish her instructions were more articulate.

Dr. Alfred is by far the best professor I've ever had. She will help you if you need it and is the nicest person in the world. If she advices you, however, make sure your classes count toward your degree b/c she just signs the paper, but she is fabulous.

Dr.Alfred is a fantastic professor. she knows how to make you better at what you will be doing and she makes class soo much fun! you have to come to class because you do so much every time, but you won't be bored and you wont dread going to class either. she's fantastic.

Dr. Alfred not only "knows her stuff," (English wise), but also she knows how to teach people to teach. She is open minded, yet realistic. Her experience and expertise is unmatched. I would like to think that I am a stronger teacher because what I learned from her. She inspired me the way I only hope I can inspire my students today.

With all of my courses behind me, with the exception of student teaching, I can honestly say that Dr. Alfred is the best professor I have had the pleasure of having had here at Tennessee Tech. She is warm, wise, witty and her love of teaching is as obvious as is her love of the students she does teach. If you are in the education program; take her!

Dr. Alfred is a very sweet and at times effective professor. Although she does tend to go on a little too much with telling stories--she's very good at working with students and getting her points across in class. She is one of those tride and true English teachers--so watch out when writing papers for her..A really fun and neat lady

Dr. Alfred is quite simply one of the most remarkable advisors and teachers that one could ever be fortunate enough to have in this life. Give her the respect she is due if you wish the same yourself. She is truly a Jedi master of education and will allow you to use prior lesson plans. Remember, as she is fond of saying: "Work smarter; not harder!"

Dr. A, is an incredible professor. She is also hysterically funny which we all loved. The things I learned in her class can't be taught in a book. She also accepts everyone for who they are. She respects all political views and religious views and just wants students to be excited about education
