Dr. Abboushi is a wonderful Professor. During my time in his class, we learned about every corner of Marketing. I got an 'A' in the class through reading all chapters of the assigned book. If I had not done so, I doubt that I would have gotten that grade. Although his tests comprise the entirety of your grade, they are not excessively difficult.

Comment:

Suhail is a good professor and he deeply cares about the value of a solid education. The only thing that may worry people is that his marketing class grades only consist of four tests that add up to 100%. However, if you don't show up to class and you do not follow his strict classroom rules (i.e. no phones), you will lose points and make him mad.

He's a nice guy, but strict in class. Don't let him catch you with your phone out! the exams are relatively easy -just make sure you take his notes and read the chapters. He isn't a tough grader on any of the essays.

He genuinely cares about his students and the well-being of them. He truly wants each and everyone to succeed and try their hardest. If you aren't doing too well, talk to him outside of class. He will work with you and give you points if he sees you trying/improving. His tests are completely lecture-based, and straightforward if you actually listen

This guy knows his stuff. If you participate, he will love you. Yes, he is old and can be boring, but he knows it and jokes about it. You don't need the book because it's in the library. The tests are 99% from the lecture, you often don't need to read the book. I actually apply what I learned from him, and I highly recommend his class.

Dr. Abboushi is very straight-forward. He gives 4 tests, each adding up to 100% of your grade. His tests are strictly on lectures and the assigned chapters of the book. If you study those two things then his tests are a piece of cake.

Suhail is a very nice guy but has ridiculous classroom rules. His lectures are boring but the tests are easy, they come straight from the book. If you read the chapters then you will be fine. Attendance is mandatory and so is participation.

i really thought he was easy. literally all you have to do is write down what is on the board and read the book. the notes are like an outline but you can definitely pass with just that. class is boring at times. but i thought it was easy and straight forward. take his attend policy serious.

It's been probably 10 years since I had him for Intro to Management, but reading the comments makes me have to laugh. Boring class. I remember he made students design a mock "corporate team-building exercise." Big waste of time.

Took him for International Business. He knows what he is saying but he doesnt allow the student to. Have to construct weekly powerpoint every week not related to test... There are about 3-4 test that is derived from 4 chapters (multiple choice) Study every single detail of the chapter because even useless facts are on there. Did not like this class

He's absolutely horrible. Lectures made me fall asleep and were unnecessary. Exams were difficult but doable if you studied enough. No work except tests so that's nice I guess but other than that he's extremely rude.

If you are looking for a professor to read off slides every class then this is your professor. He doesn't even put the slides on blackboard to study so we have to pay close attention to all the slides. Also, you can't bring laptops in to take notes and attendance is mandatory while you get no participation grade. The tests are also the same format.

I would recommend him for intro to management. He doesnt make his tests hard and he understands that most students take the class because its required. If you study and attend class you will do well. He is a nice teacher who cares about his students

Abboushi is the Man. His classes are direct and straight forward. Participate and he'll love you. Textbook is not mandatory but it could help with studying, I never used it and got an A because his lectures rock. I definitely recommend signing up for this gentleman's class.
