You must come to class if you want a good grade because the powerpoints on BlackBoard barely have any information. She talks the whole class so it is very difficult to document everything. Group project was annoying, but marked fairly. Textbook was helpful but I don't think anyone even bought one so don't bother. Midterm and final was tough, study!

Best to avoid. Lectures dry. Exams have several typos. Tests are 90% of grade.

Her lectures are very reliant on taking notes, as she covers stuff not on the ppt. Plus the midterm and final count for 30% a piece. The group project she assigns is annoying because for the last half of the semester your learning test content from classmates, not her. She expected 20+ sources which is too much for a ppt presentation/2nd year class

The class is just heavy lectures where you write notes and listen. It's just heavy lectures and exams worth 30% apiece. Skip the class and you won't pass as notes aren't posted online. She is a very-friendly prof though and accessible. I only recommend her if you like this style of lectures. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend her.

Lectures are boring and fast, but she is very thorough with explaining everything. I also had lab with her and she is very helpful. Tests aren't hard if you take time to study.

I do NOT recommend this professor to anybody. She rambles on about everywhere she has travelled and has done. Barely properly covers course material. Very boring dry lectures, she expects you to know everything she says yet she doesnt cover it on her PowerPoints. Its more of a listen to where Ive gone and what Ive done class.

If you don't test well, do NOT take Susan's class. Her lectures are dry and very boring, and she expects you to write freehand notes while she talks but it's hard to even stay awake. Her tests are ridiculous, making it hard to pass even if you know the material. Do not take her class if you can avoid it.

This prof is LIIIIIIIIIIIT. She marks super easy. All of her powerpoints are point form and then you get to look at a million of her vacation photos. If you listen during class she'll give you good marks. You definitely recommend. The textbook can also be found online for free!

Good prof, very lecture heavy class but very useful information. Tests are very easy as long as you study the notes she gives you especially key terms! Would take her class again.

Found it hard to figure out what to study, she didn't put strong emphasis on anything in particular. It was tough to know how the material would be graded. She didn't seem to respect students that were not able finish up with fossils quickly in the lab. Her exams were unorganized having students run amok to any given station. Would avoid.

Susan is a professor that lectures. There is no interaction between student and teacher. She talks and you write down everything she is saying and her tests are practically word for word what she says in class. In that sense, not showing up will really hurt your grade. The class has no projects at all, just tests. Which if you test poorly, sucks.

Be prepared to to a lot of notes. She doesn't write much on her powerpoints and most information is given through her speaking. Tests are easy enough if you pay attention, but textbook is rarely used.

susan is great. She expects you to take notes since the powerpoints on blackboard have minimal info. You have to memorize lot's of stuff for the exams but she literally lists everything you need to know and is very clear about what is going to be on the tests. Very nice lady and she will always help if you have a question! Take her class is you can

In general, Susan struck me as being a nice lady. The classes are long and she teaches by standing at the front and saying the content, and it was essential to take notes. She does not post content to Blackboard, but she will tell you what will be on the test. The tests are challenging but if you pay attention in her class, you will do fine.

This class is actually incredibly easy if you studied, memorize the power points and worksheets and you'll ace the exams. Susan is pretty moody and does not explain expectations well, make sure you ask lots of questions so you know what she wants on projects etc.

Class revolves around Powerpoint slides that have minimal information with the expectation that you take notes when she speaks. Which is impossible. You are required to do work sheets that are not worth any mark and may or may not be on the exams. If you are interested and can teach yourself you may pass otherwise don't expect help.

Susan is very nice and clearly is very interested in the subject matter. Attending her classes is really important because she goes through material very quickly. She does not answer emails, which makes it hard to get clarification. She has a habit of making you feel unnecessarily stressed out about homework assignments. 100% effort required.
