Average teacher and since it's math you'll definitely have to understand AND problem solve well on your own. Doing well on her exams are more important than just on the quizzes. You're better off getting a better teacher.

She is a good teacher and answer students' questions. She is nice and smart, however, she does go super fast. It is hard to understand because she writes and explains. she doesn't stop and as she writes a lot. Either you pay attention or writes notes because she does go fast.

She is really nice and likes do a lot of proofs which is annoying. She does a lot of examples but her tests and quizzes are based on the work you do in class. Hw is optional but she assigns a lot. Take her.

This is one of those classes that attendance is absolutely crucial, and homework gives you an incredible advantage when it comes to test and quizzes. If you do it, and study perhaps a bit, you will be fine, if not, this class will be very difficult. She is one of my favorite professors ever, since she is smart and knows what she's doing.

You know what? She is a nice teacher. However, she doesn't really explain everything well. I think she is lazy. My advice is that, if you are the type of person who loves self study then you'll be fine. But if you need the instructor to explain everything well, then drop her class. Trust me, she is nice but not good in explaining the subject.

Pros- Experienced and knowledgeable, Makes stuffs clear, goes through easy ways to solve tough problems, confident, approachable, kind and helpful. Cons- spends more time working on homework problems that really teaching. Does many small mistakes. Finally- Exams are tough, quiz are easy, but easy to pass her class.She is one of the best teachers!

She's a good instructor and has taught at NVCC for 35 years. However, what she was doing in class was more like a Calculus for Business and Engineering majors. I am on the Education side, so I needed an easier math. Overall, good instructor!

I would reccomend her to anyone! I love the way she teaches. She covers everything, and is very helpful when it comes to questions. Her tests are tough, but she makes sure you understand the material when she reviews. Lectures and tests come straight out of the book. She's awesome!

I took all the Pre-Calculus classes leading up to this, but was unprepared for her proofs and lack of going over homework. She hated answering questions and acted like we were too stupid for her to talk to. 45 students started her class and only 14 finished. . . nuff said! If you need to go on further with Calculus, don't take her, please!!!

i got an A, but SHE IS INCREDIBLY HARD! tests are hard and take forever to finish. she does explain stuff like you should already know it. i spent like 4-5 hours every day studying. but she does have weekly quizzes and if your quiz average is higher than test avg then she'll replace it. but quizzes arent easy either...
