Unorganized. Late to class. Only talks about/relates stories to herself. Gave us 6 different revised copies of the syllabus. Will go on 20+ minute rants about her personal life. She has the students teach the class through group presentations. Will give unclear due date and say "due date is flexible." Gets VERY angry at us when we get confused.

This teacher is terrible, do not take her!! I literally learned nothing in her class and it was the education class I was looking most forward to. Take any other instructor but her. Be prepared to write a lot and answer the same questions over and over again. Only good thing is that she gives extensions if needed. But otherwise, she's the worst.

Dr. Pogoloff is clearly very passionate about special education in general and inclusion in particular. Her class, though sometimes a bit tedious, is not hard. The class is a lot of lecture/group work/video watching/online homework. She can sometimes be confusing and vague, though she will always try her best to clarify when you ask.

Very unorganized. Has extreme views on inclusion and if you don't agree with her she will not listen to you. Doesn't really answer questions. Disorganized is a huge understatement. Don't plan on learning anything at all.

Dr. Pogoloff has a very hard time staying true to the syllabus. You won't learn everything you think you will, but it's an easy A. Movies in class, group work, and the possibility of exemption from the final. Take her if you want a fairly easy class. Just do the homework and go to class every week for an A.

Comment:

Very easy class, met once a week, and had homework due every class (but simple stuff with answers straight from the book). Watch movies in class, TONS of group work (grade booster!), and pretty chill atmosphere. Get at least a B on the midterm and you can exempt the final (I got a 102). Despite easy A, I still learned a lot. TAKE HER!!

Sure its an easy A but i learned absolutley nothing. I dreaded this class every week. She talks about the same thing over and over and over again every class. I was bored as hell. But, if you dont care about learning the material, its an easy A. DO the homeworks, go to class because she tells you exactly whats on the test and you will get an A.

GREAT Professor!!! Very Easy Class if you go and do the study guides. Group Work every class which helps your grade alot if you are there. All I did during class was the homework. VERY Very Easy, I highly recommend her.

Yes she is very unorganized but she is also a horrible teacher. It took her until the final to give back our mid-terms. Tons of busy work because she is too busy to actually teach. She preached to us about not being biased but she seems to be fairly biased herself.

This is the worst professor I have ever had. She is completely unorganized and taught us in an Intro to Speical Educaiton class only about those who have mental retardation...neglecting all other special needs. She skrewed up my grade greatly and has been no help so far in fixing the problem. I will never take a class with her again!

Easy class, but ton of busy work from the book. Have to buy an extra reading packet and you can't read most of the articals in it. She talks about herself and her family all the time, which gets old, and has this rediculous ideal society she thinks we should have. If you want an easy class, take this. If you want a good prof, go somewhere else.

THIS IS THE MOST UNORGANIZED WOMAN IN THE WORLD! she has no idea how to teach. we didnt even get two chapters into the book. we had grad students in our class and she completely favored them. she is the worst/most frustrating teacher i have ever had and i would NEVER take her again for ANYTHING.
