Comment:
I had an independent study with Susana during Summer Session 2012. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with her and this made it kind of difficult to finish the course quickly. However, when I did speak to her she was friendly and genuinely interested in the subject matter- a quality that I find helps make the learning process a lot more fun!

Um, why does she hate this country so much? I mean, if she really thinks Africa is so wonfderful, she could go teach there.

If you want a Women's Studies class it is not the same as this class. This is a class about politics in Latin America and how it effects women. So much focus on politics is to much. Not what I was expecting. Do the readings!

Had Susana for both Intro to Womens Studies and Latin American Women. Her discussions are really interesting, and if you go to class you are almost guaranteed an A. Her tests are easy and she gives points for coming to class. Not only is she an easy prof, but shes also a lot of fun and easy to talk to.

She is a very nice, hardcore feminist. She is from Mexico i think, so she talks with an accent-- but it's pretty easy to understand. She likes in class projects, giving points for attendence, and group discussions. Easy tests, easy A.
