Dr. Welsh is awesome. I took Western Philosophical traditions 2 online this summer, and she was wonderful and very helpful. I knew nothing about philosophy going into this class and actually learned a lot. Tests and quizzes are super easy. Just participate and listen to the lectures and you will be good!

Dr. Welsh has been so awesome. I had her for philosophy and she did a great job explaining the material clearly and posing questions for us to think about. Make sure you go to class! Almost all quizzes were pop quizzes but if you keep up with the reading they are easy A's.

Dr. Welsh was an amazing professor. I loved the Facebook discussions and the quizzes were challenging but not impossible. My only complaint is that some questions didn't have a good response set and were more ambiguous than a simple true or false although she did allow you to argue if you didn't agree. She made me love philosophy!

Absolutely the BEST teacher I've had in college. Knew nothing about the class going in, but she makes it FUN, she's crystal clear with her info. You'll be fine without book. She is funny and tests are simple. You'll love to learn what she has to say. Such an awesome lady!! DEFINITELY TAKE HER FOR PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is a very easy teacher. At first I started with using the books but strayed away from them because I just listened in class and still did well on the tests. She does well with realating real-life situations with somewhat boring material and her tests are easy if you fill out the study guide. She gives a pop quizez every now and then so come.

A really funny and interesting teacher - and a great addition to the philosophy department dude-party. At times, it was hard to keep up with the reading in this class, but it was worth it. She did a great job of digestibly explaining really complex ideas. We're lucky to have her.

Talia is a great professor. She has such a vast knoweledge on the subject matter that she rarely looks to her notes while speaking. She assigns about 15 pages of reading every night, but she make such great Study Guides for you to fill out in class that I have never read a single page of the book and I'm pulling an A-. I love her class.

she is an AWESOME teacher. she's really fun and has so much knowledge. the class does require a ton of reading, which can be a real pain. if you don't read, you won't pass. so if you don't procrastinate, you can easily get an A or B.
