I think he is a really good teacher, but he expects a lot out of his classes, and he is from another country so it's hard to understand him, but he is always willing to help you to understand something or repeat something he has gone over.

Kumbula joked about failing the entire class, picked fun at a few students, and walked out during two presentations in my class. Overall, the course is intimidating, but so long as you have a day or two that you devote to the class, you should be fine. I've heard that so long as you follow his instructions, you're guaranteed at least a B.

He is unclear, hard to talk to and overall unorganized. He does not care about you, your life or your 100 page paper that is the reason you pass or fail. He is, however, better than Swingley, so if you can, Get him and not her. But do what he says, how he says it and you'll pass. With Swingley, you might not pass.

J102 is a hard class in general and all classes have the same assignments. Kumbula had a weird sense of humor where you don't know whether to laugh or not. I did get a B in the class, but that's better than I thought I'd get, so I'm not complaining. I did get a few As on assignments. He is somewhat nice but he doesn't seem to care a lot about us

He at first seems like a really horrible teacher, he doesn't communicate well, but if you stick out his class and do the assignments, then you will learn a lot from him, I heard that he's a lot better than most of the J102 profs, and I got an A- in J102

Very Unclear, when I met with him, he was watching Jerry Springer and ignoring me. He walked out of class during my friends presentation of her final project. He does not give As, however, pretty much everyone gets a B on everything no matter what.
