She is a really good professor! She answers all your questions and is very clear about it. She does give out pop quizzes, but if you understand the content they are easy. You have homework everyday and she randomly checks it, but its not a problem.

there are quizzes after most chapters the test are clear and the Hw check is random. you work for your grade but if you need help she is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you understand. to not wait until the last minute to get help. there is a curve and a few extra credit opportunities. it would be hard to not get c with no effort

Professor Cook is not a good teacher or person. Her information for the course is on clear. I came into the course wanting to know more about it, now I am not sure if I want to continue to program. Do not take this teacher if you love school or Ferris.

I used to enjoy accouting until I took this professor. She is really hard does not help you she makes you do everything on your own. And when you tell her that your grades are bad she says youre right on track. Also the projects she gives out has no directions and are due with in two days! Dont take her, you will regret it!!!

T. Cook is by far the best Accounting teacher I have ever had (and I have had a lot!) She clarifies anything that you don't understand and will explain it until you get it. She helps outside of class as well as in class, no question is too dumb, especially when it comes to Accounting. Highly recommend, amazing person and teacher!

Very nice and helpful teacher but material was tedious. You do need the book because there is a lot of hw assigned. i dont think the hw helped me learn because it is assigned before you lecture on it in class so you have to teach yourself. Lectures were helpful though. Laughs when she gives a pop quiz for some reason.

Great teacher who uses every available asset to teach her students. Very easy going and her exams are reasonable. By resonable I mean you can do your reading and the homework and your pretty much guaranteed to pass the class. It is only easy if you study though. 20-30m 3x a week. But if you miss much on the first or second chapter you will fail.

Took her for both 201 and 202. She is said so be the best accounting teacher at ferris and it's true. homework points are easy-- she doesn't check it for correctness, she just checks to make sure you attempted it, so its an easy 100 points in homework.

Prior to taking this class, I had very ill feelings toward Accounting. Now, partly thanks to Professor Cook, it's my major (amidst several other factors). I do not think there is anything that needs to be said that has not been said already. She is a great professor, take her if you can!
