She gives very clear directions but labs can be boring. A very kind and caring person outside of class (go see her in her office). I think she is introverted and just doesn't like big groups of people.

Hanlin is not the best teacher, not very helpful, and not very friendly. She is inaproachable when it comes to iffy questions that she asks, and really rather snippy if you try to deal with her. Horrindous practicals.

Ms. Hanlon is great. She does what she can to make unavoidably boring, but essential material interesting. She's very fair and doesn't expect and unreasonable amount of work. She's great at making sure labs don't run too long.

Comment:
This section is a lot easier than bio 111, there are no practicals and the students are usually science majors, so the class is more enjoyable and easy flowing. Ms Hanlon is very nice and helpful.

Lab practicals are ridiculously hard, but she gives you opportunity for some easy points (lab reports and quizzes), willing to help you understand really boring material, however, she never smiles
