Had him for a hybrid class. The videos of the lectures were not bad, mostly short. Test review is also good. The content of the lectures are hard though and he can be quite confusing. Pay attention in the class you actually have with him if its a hybrid class. Also- CHEGG. helps so much with the homework from the book. Between Fine (3) and mediocre

Mr. Blakney was by far my favorite professor so far. He is very straightforward with the material and loves to joke around to make math at 8am somewhat tolerable. He grades the exams pretty much the same day and is very available outside of class. Really good guy, I would recommend him for any math class

Blakney is seriously the best math teaher you could hope to have. It's been about two months and my friend as well as myself already have inside jokes going with this dude. "No c(s)olution because I ran out fo coffee." If you have to have an 8 am math, Blakney's your man. The class is really straightforeward and he always goes over stuff.

Great professor. He doesn't try to trick you on tests, and is very specific about what you need to study and be able to do. Gives homework questions, but never an insane amount, and it's optional anyways, so you don't have to worry about deadlines. He's also INCREDIBLY punctual with grading exams.

Goes though the same lectures every year, he's been doing Statistics since the stone age. Homework is very rare (I think we had 4 for 10 pts each?). Grade is mainly on exams, a little lenient at the end. Not too bad of a prof, would recommend. Reads off PowerPoints with some examples on the board.

A very likeable professor, easy to learn from and keeps the class fun and light. Teaches from the book, do your homework for you and the tests will be a non issue. Answers all questions just ask. Would certainly take again.

Definitely my favorite teacher in college... He's really helpful and I like the way he teaches, I might not but that bright in math, but this guy Rocks! Funny and All around Great! Take his class, you wont regret it!
