The worst professor I have had to date. Does not teach you anything you will have to teach yourself all the materials. Also no matter what your grade is if she feels the need to give you a zero on a notebook page you will fail.

I really think Prof Allen is a great professor. She is tough, but you will learn the material if you pay attention and do the HW. She is caring & willing to help during office hours and is very responsive to emails. Uses a variety of techniques in presenting lecture material, catering to different learning styles. Good at prepping students for exam

Theresa was the worst teacher I have had in my life. She is rude and condescending. In a class like 108 the quality of her ability to teach doesn't matter much because everything is on person or polya staff helps you. In turn, she uses her status as "teacher" to be condescending and rude. She isn't nice, or helpful.

I took a class with her online in high school and her grading was absolutely ridiculous. You had to show up to all of her online meetings or else points would be docked from your grade and don't even worry about doing your homework because tests were worth 80% of your grade. That's right. EIGHTY PERCENT. Avoid her at all costs.

For this class everything is taught online. The only reason to go to class is for attendance, where we take notes and turn them in. Theresa Allen treats the class like we're a bunch of 6th graders who have no idea what we're doing. I'm not great at math but I feel like I could do a better job teaching than she does.

I took her for Math 108 (easiest class ever), and I liked her relaxed style. The only reason why the students go to the one class day a week is to do the notebook quiz. Everything they need to learn is online, so I appreciate that she was chill and always had a smile on her face.

This was my second time taking a calculus I class. She always went off on some wierd tangent every five minutes during a lecture. I understood most of the material but the class was taught very poorly.

Theresa did her best to keep the class engaged, though that was sometimes a difficult task because all of us are artsy people with no interest in math. Sometimes she was confusing in her lectures, but was always willing to offer help if you didn't understand. Didn't like her use of partner work, though some people do.

Theresa is a wonderful person, and a great professor, I just think she has a little too much faith in how much math a person can accomplish in 7 days. I mean 150 problems? Which includes graphing? I guess if your a math lover this is easy... but for the rest of us its rather frustrating.
