Thomas is hands down the clearest and most helpful math teacher I've ever had. And, his jokes may be obscure, but they are almost always funny. I think the person who said he can't speak English has confused him with someone else named hilbert(?!).

his class was kind of helpful but he had a hard time speaking englilsh sometimes. he's probably from canada. i heard that people from eastern canada don't speak english. if you want to take a good class take math from hilbert. he's kind of spacy tho.

Sometimes he just stops and stares out into space, usually when a student asks a question. You can tell he's thinking hard. I hope he doesn't blow up. I had one teacher that did. I was sitting in the front row that day. Yuck.
