Comment:

Dr. Ward made DNY enjoyable and an easy A. He understood we had other classes too, and curved all of our midterm grades so we could all have A's. We have one major term paper for the end of the semester and just have read his book for the rest. Fun easy read and class. Would take again. Highly recommend. Very caring and sweet. Easy going

Comment:

Would take him again! Even though his class was an easy A, I had so much fun with reading all the books we had to read for our assignments. Every week there was an assignment due and for the midterm it was a little project. If you need to boost your gpa up a bit, definitely take him.

This man is so passionate about Criminal Justice it was inspirational to me. He makes you read his autobiography, and William Bratton's, but its extremely interesting and he'll question you on them. He doesn't grade each assignment though so I'm curious to how he comes up with a final grade.

Comment:

He asks for weekly "blog posts" on blackboard about the assigned reading, which aren't that hard. He does take attendance seriously, you can miss 1 or 2 classes, but I wouldn't push it past that. He's great, really nice, very clear in class. All I have to say is just do the work and try your best on the test and you'll DEFINITELY get a good grade!

One of my favorite classes I ever took online, clear assignments, he's very hands on and encouraging and was always involved in the discussions; he saw me on campus and recognized me immediately. Very passionate and knowledgeable about PCR. It didn't feel like mandatory work, I loved participating. Take Him !

He is nice and helpful. He has a huge passion for the crimal justice. Do the decent work, hand it on time, and you will get good grade. Midterm and Final is ok. Show him your effort, and you will get an A. The only thing that I do not feel comfortable in this class is that ALL students have to participate when he gives topic to discuss.

Professor Ward is the man!! He has really interesting stories with the police force and he really would love for his students to succeed. The work is not bad at all and for a DNY course this is the way to go with a criminal justice concentration. You won't regret it!! Book and attendance are mandated. This class also has a few interesting trips!!!!

This was a book you had to read. The Final and a homework assignment is straight out of the book. READ! You go over almost nothing in class, so when you do take notes! Buy both books! they are interesting.

TAKE HIM!! by far the best professor in the CJ program. has so much knowledge in the field of CJ. his career background is very impressive and interesting to learn about. very fair grader easy class as long as you show up every time and don't be late. review for both exams, you can't go wrong. TAKE EVERY CLASS HE OFFERS. I DID!!!

Dr.Ward is a well rounded individual who has a tremendous amount of experince. He requires his students to be tardy to class and attendance is mandatory.Dr. Ward is lienient, there is only two tests and two online discussions questions. He is an exceptional professor whom i recommend taking.Definately taking again next semester.

Take him. One of the best professors here if you are a CRJ major. He has some crazy stories and is so helpful. Cares ALOT about his students and will always help you. Tests are easy because he reviews for them beforehand. Just go to class and be on time.

Dr. Ward, is by far one of the most amazing professors I've ever had throughout my college career. I would recommend taking any classes with him. I was slightly disappointed with the class. Yes, it is easy and the professor has plenty of energy and interesting stories. I just did not get as much from the class as I was expecting. It may have been because my class itself was kind of dull and no one really participated. Despite this, I am glad I took him and I would recommend him.
