What an amazing, caring, highly educated professor. He is very passionate about what he teaches, he's very analytical and energetic. You won't regret taking his class. Consider taking his Theatre/Culture/Society class. It was definitely my favorite.

Tim is an awesome guy. You need to do the reading if you want to be an active participant in conversation. He does a great job of applying the things we read about to things going on in the world and on campus. He is quite the character, so don't be alarmed when he randomly screams, he is just keeping you focused. 10/10 would take again.

Tim Good is one of the craziest guys I've ever met! With that being said I have never learned more from an individual because he forces you to think critically and engage with your classmates. I highly suggest taking a class with Tim! He is the man and if you struggle just go talk to him. hes a bro.

He's eccentric, which is what makes him pretty funny because he just springs it on you unexpectedly. There is a LOT of required reading but I got an A in the class without reading a page. Syllabus is revisable, and he's extremely lenient on time (very understanding, just needs to be emailed) and the assignments aren't bad. Lot of required shows tho

There is a ton of reading- mostly plays- but as long as you know the story [watch the movie/youtube] you will know more than enough. He actually suggested that. You do have to finish all of the work, however, but he is EXTREMELY lenient on time frame. Had him for 2 years straight now, and he works the same way in every class I've had.

While Tim is a nice person and descent professor, this class was unbearable. There are way to many "mandatory" performances and acts that students are required to see outside of class, and the workload is ridiculous (including the required readings which I don't think we ever covered in class). If you do not have spare time, do not take this class.

Prf Good gives you a lot of chances to do well. A lot of reading for an Intro to Acting Course but if you apply yourself, read, participate, and use the tools and methods, you'll do well. The intro class is based on how well you use the tools he gives within you acting scenes. By asking for help, your grade will improve. Turn in things on time.

This class was awful!!! Do not waste your time. This class is supposed to be an introductory level class, and Tim treats it as a 300 level class (at least he did last semester). The work is tedious and pointless. The acting games are pointless (trust me, I'm actually employed by an acting agency!) Bottom line, do not take this prof!

Tim Good is my favorite all time. I took acting I with him, and learnt a lot from the class. He may assign you a lot of home work/assignments, but in the end, you really learn in enjoyable and creative ways. But if you don't like acting/theater, don't take him, cuz there'll be more work than expected.

I took Design and Realization of DePauw Opera with him for Winter Term. The class was a lot of manual labor, sitting around and long hours... not particularly enjoyable especially when you didn't have anything to do. Didn't see the professor a lot though, we were mostly taught by Duane...

I had Tim good for beginning acting. If you take him, be prepared to read more than you have ever read, and actually learn methods of acting. His class is in now way a bull**** class. He is very approchable, and helpful. He rox! Take his class :)
