PowerPoint voiceovers are all over the place but he wants you to use them for assignments. Some of his comments are not ok such as you should also feel this way.... Someone else on here said it best just listen to his lectures and regurgitate whatever he said because he only cares about what his opinion on the matter is.

Menta is the most biased professor I have ever met. He only cares about his beliefs and if you try to argue anything besides his opinion, you get screwed over. Catholic students beware, he tends to target anyone who supports the church (cause heaven forbid someone believes something he doesn't). Be prepared to get low scores on papers...

I took Dr. Menta for a 3-credit, 7-week online PHIL205 class and I do not regret it a single bit. There are weekly discussions and quizzes, but they are straight forward. If you pay attention to the voice over PowerPoint lectures that he posts and apply moderate effort into the class, you will be able to attain an easy A or B.

For the love of God, take advantage of this guy's office hours. This class was extremely difficult for our class because no one bothered to do work outside of the classroom. Just because there's no homework doesn't mean it'll be easy. Menta was always very helpful and he respected the opinions of others. Treat this guy right and you'll do fine.

The class in interesting and he can be very funny, but be warned, he is a hard grader. Simply, you will not get an A in his class. As long as you do not interpret his readings for yourself, you will pass. Write down everything he says and regurgitate it all onto paper to further bloat his head. Good luck :-)

Not that bad of a class. Hard A. Only write 3 or 4 papers for your grade. Menta explains everything well. Just a class that u have to sit through and learn about stuff that you will never use again.
