Timbo is the real deal. This guy lives and breathes physics. Unfortunately that makes his class difficult for uninterested students. Let's be real- this is Macomb. This guy shouldn't be teaching here. BUT. You won't find many professors like Skonieczny at Macomb, ffs this guy wrote a book! Just try. Do the homework, and chum around with him

Hardest class I have ever taken. I watched lots of you tube videos trying to understand the problems. One test is dropped ,which is good, because with only 7 problems on a test if you cant figure out one you are in trouble. You really need to do the homework problems in order to understand the information. Homework is not graded.

Terrible professor. He expects you know basically everything coming into the class. Gives very little help with homework problems. Very easily gets often topic during lectures. He's proud of the fact that over half of his students drop his courses each semester. Physics 1180 was only graded on 5 exams and 10 labs.

Genuinely the only professor I ever had who should be fired. The guy brags about people dropping his class, starting at 30 and ending with 5. Will basically mock you and tell you to drop the class if you don't understand the material. People stopped going for an engineering because of this guy. He's the most discouraging instructor at this school.

Teaches the class like everyone in there should already know everything and doesn't really give examples of what you'll be tested on. I didn't know anyone who had stayed in the class. Grades everything to a T and won't make any exceptions for error of any kind. I would not take him again and recommend finding another physics professor.

Minimal assigned work makes it very easy to slip up and fail. Only 3 graded tests and a handful of labs. No way to boost your grade other than doing really well on all the tests. Most test questions are ones not covered in class.

Entire Class is Graded on 4 Exams with 7 questions on each and the overall average lab grade for 10 labs. Professor Failed to communicate Corse Material. 60% drop out rate 25% pass rate Trig not a class pre-rec, however more than half of all the work involves trig. 30 minutes on youtube was a more help than his lecture.

The worst professor Ive ever had. Four tests worth pretty much your entire grade, so if you dont do good on those you wont pass. He teaches like you already know everything, and 5/7 questions on the tests arent even anything you went over. Nearly impossible course, especially with this professor.

Physics is hard to begin with, this professor makes it ten times harder. there are 4 exams each worth 25% and labs worth 25%. He drops the lowest exam. There is no graded homework to help boost your grade. He does notes in class but doesn't explain properly. I suggest you find a different professor and save your time and money.

Aweful teacher. The ONLY prerequisite for this class is math 1000, with that being said I have no background in physics at all. And this guy jumps right into it the first day, assuming you know the baiscs and explains very little. No practice test/powerpoints available. Unless you're very knowledgeable in the subject, save your money.

Listen, he's very knowledgeable on physics; however, he's just not a great teacher. Because of this he doesn't know how to convey his knowledge properly to the students. My class started off with 35 students and ended with a whopping 14. Your final grade is based off of only 3 exams (only 7 questions each) & about 13 labs that are graded hard.

Please save yourself the frustration by not taking this professor. I don't want to take away from the fact that he is a very smart guy, but the way he goes about his class is awful. Hardest class i have ever taken in my life. 2 exams in and I bombed them both which doesn't usually ever happen to me. He grades super hard/ homework is never graded.

Physics and Mathematics are my backyard, but because of him, I hated physics. I was 1 of 4 students left around exam #3 time, but I couldn't even pass with a C. I had to retake the course with a different instructor, and guess what? Got an A. Stay as far away as you could from him. He goes off topic A LOT and gives homework that he never grades.

Very passionate for the classes he teaches. Days that have significance in the history of science will have a short lesson about it before the days lecture begins. When grading labs he is very fair and gives great feedback. Homework is optional in the class, but very helpful.

This professor is amazing and has a true passion for what he teaches. He is very helpful in discovering how to earn a high grade. If you do all the homework problems, the class is an easy A. I loved how dedicated he was and how much he wanted the best for the class. He has greatly impacted me through his passion and the work ethic he demands.

This is the wourst Physics professor in Macomb Community College. I would never recommend taking him. He lacks teaching skills, and frequently goes off topic. I used to love Physics but ever since I took his class, I started to do poorly in this class.
