I was really excited to take this class,he tells great stories.However, maybe the other raters never talked to him because he was a complete jerk to me and extremely rude (i think bc he thinks hes a celebrity).Also he is just using the class to get fame for himself (ND folklore archive) so make sure not to sign permission to let YOUR work be used.

He was a fantastic professor. Easy to understand, funny, concise, and told fantastic stories. The class was interesting and informative, the tests and assignments were very fair and reasonable, and he graded very fairly. I'd highly recommend taking his classes if you get a chance to do so.

He is an excellent teacher. Not the easiest course I've ever taken, but I've learned a lot and have done well when I do the work required. He knows so much information about folklore and teaches in a way that allows you to understand what he's trying to convey and grow from it. Best teacher ever!

Dr. Kloberdanz is passionate about his research and it shows, esp. in Germans from Russia. I have enjoyed every class I took from him and he is the reason I chose Anthropology for my Master's degree.
