No textbook, no direction and no point of even trying to learn anything. There is really no structure to the class and it seemed liked every class was just an impromptu session. You won't learn anything, but if you like paying money to a university and getting very little for it then by all means take the class. he is very nice though.

He really makes microbiology very fun and interesting. You learn a great deal in his class about systems that are not discussed in most other microbiology courses. I highly recommend him as he is a great professor, and one of the best I have ever had!
