Davis is a good guy, but very scatter brained. He always blames his dyslexia. In class he is pretty confusing. I had to read each section in order to understand the material. However, the class is super easy because on the test you can use a sheet of notes, and ANYTHING on your computer. I just scanned all my notes and practice test. So helpful

If you have to take DSC 210/211 then he is absolutely the professor you want. He is a very engaging guy who really cares about his students. HW and quizzes are done in groups and he allows you a notes sheet to use on the test.

Prof Davis is one of the greatest giys you'll ever meet. Very nice man and wants you to succeed. He always has office hours and is very helpful if you are confused. Tests are not that easy but you can use ANYTHING you have on your computer plus a cheat sheet. Take Tom Davis for dsc210,you will not regret it.

TI is a great guy - funny and interesting - but he can't teach. He expects you to figure out a lot on your own (you have to study between classes) which leaves you playing catch up from the first day. On the other hand, he lets you use ANYTHING you can put into your laptops on tests, whether it be the textbook if you want to scan it or your notes.

Tom Davis is AWESOME. He can be unclear to understand at times, but lets you bring a sheet of notes to test AND use your computer. He wants you to do well. The guy is hilarious too. Always in a good mood and cracking jokes. You get to mediatate too which is SWEET. TAKE T DAVISS!

A very easy class, but nonetheless still enjoyable. Prof. Davis allows for all homework and all quizzes except for one to be completed in teams. There are two tests a semester and for both you are encouraged to put whatever you want on your laptop computer to assist you with the test. Class is almost entirely based in Excel and is an easy A.
