Comment:

Thank god for his projects because without them i would have not done as "well" as i did. You have to study pretty hard for his exams, there is so much information on each one. I took this class in the summer, things moved quickly and sometimes it was hard to keep up. He was a nice guy but the material is hard.

Mr. Harnden was an excellent professor! He lets you know from day one what is expected from you and what it takes to pass the course with a good grade. He gives more tests than other professors which is VERY helpful. You have to be very dedicated to this class and study A LOT. It's tough but possible to make an A or B. Also he provides textbook.

I passed his grade with an A, he has a good heart and wants his students to succeed. Unfortunately, I do not like his teaching methods. I felt like a learned more at home on my own, rather then during lecture class. I would have rather taken his class online. Once again, big heart, but I would not take him again.

Comment:

His Maymester Nutrition class is pretty easy if you study the notes. Every question on exam from notes, and he will give you the question (free points) if something on his exam is NOT on his notes. He copies and paste his exams from his notes. In addition, he allowed his students to use flash cards on exams. It's easy if you study. I got an easy A.

Nice guy,but I wouldn't recommend his class. It's just difficult to figure out exactly what to know for tests. He gives good notes, but then they really have nothing to do with tests. : (

Very nice guy. I had him for Maymester Nutrition. If I had to do again, not sure if I would take him. I really liked him as a person, but he seemed to contradict his notes. So it was hard to know what he wanted on his tests.

First off I took him for Nutr Biol 2190 for Maymester. He is awesome. He kicked my butt and challenged me to the core. Loved him. He made the class interesting and I scored an A. You better study study study.
