Roehl is a great prof to know if you are an IBUS major. He really cares about the students in the program and is always available for advice and connections. As a prof his lectures are somewhat dry, but I still learned a lot. Speak up and make yourself stand out, it will be worth your while in the long run if you're an IBUS major.

Lectures are extremely boring. Tests are not difficult if you read the articles and the text. All the group projects and the 15 page group final exam was VERY painful while trying to balance other courses. The professor is helpful but there is nothing to be learned from the painfully boring lectures.

Prof. Roehl is a wonderful guy and a pretty great professor. He is really experienced and passionate about international business, and cares about his students. He is a really fair grader, and doesn't grade down presentations if you stumble over your words a bit, which I really appreciate. Great class!

Awesome Professor. His lectures are a little dry but he is a great guy. He really cares about his students and he is willing to help. Exams are in essay format and pretty easy. There is a small group project and presentation that is pretty easy. Don't bother buying the book, save your money. He is great I would definitely recommend him.

Tom is definitely not the dime a dozen power point professor. His lectures were his own which made for an interesting class, but it also made attentance pretty important. He's very friendly and willing to help students outside of class.You could get by without the text. Several guest speakers. Awesome class!

Really nice Prof. will help you if you ask. the lectures were a little boring. you dont need the text at all if you go to the lectures. he assigns a lot of readings but you dont have to read all of them to pass the tests. group projects throughout the class, if you get a bad group the class can be horrible.

This is the worst teacher i have ever had at Western! He is old as dirt and doesn't make sense when he is speaking. The only good thing is that he is an easy grader and very helpfull. He still uses the overhead instead of powerpoint and there is a ton of reading! DO NOT TAKE.

Roehl is a really good smart guy, but this class was just so-so. A total lack of structure made it interesting, but I didn't feel like I learned a lot. Also, be prepared to have no idea how you're doing in the class until grades are distributed. No real lectures to speak of.

Quiet, shy, dorky but extremely smart and loves what he does. He seems to have endless experience in the field of international business- and I more than respect him for it. Lectures are pretty boring, but along w/ the textbook, the subject itself is very interesting. Would highly recommend.

super nice stereotypical old college prof with an endless supply of bland tweed suits and sweater vests. Quite intelligent and learned despite his boring weak lectures. Interesting subject material and pretty darn easy grader on exams and projects but less so on papers. highly recommended
