Comment:
Tony has structure intended for his classes, but he would often go off topic on a tangent and not cover the materials that were supposed to be covered in the class. The majority of what I learned while in his classes were from the final project where I taught myself the majority of what i was supposed to learn during the semester.

Comment:
His reputation and experience precedes him, and he won't let you ever forget that. A common topic of discussion in his class is his various owned companies and contributions to the field. His teaching is fast-paced, so it's a little hard to keep up sometimes, but if you ask for help he will slow down or help out. He's tough on group projects.

It's not an easy class but it is what I would expect from a university. Mr. Gauvin is most likely the best professor I've had in my educational career, he's very professional and it's apparent that he's interested in what he teaches. I loved his class!

Comment:
Tony Gauvin is and extremely intelligent and influention character in his field. In his classes he goes at the pace of the farthest along student rather than the lagging students. He is very stringent about rules and it can be very easy to fail his classes. However the informaation that can be learned is invaluable.

I think some Instructors at UMFK are great but Instructor Antony Gauvin needs to leave the school because his reputation and his teaching philosophy is going to deter kids from attending the University Of Maine at Fort Kent. This is by far the worst and unfair instructor I have ever seen in all my years of college. He is not helpful and failure of

About as interesting as watching a hard boiled egg cook, only somewhat less appatizing. What a waste of time his class was. And my goodness, could his ego be any bigger?
