One of the BEST teachers I've had in my life period. She is so helpful and personable; whether it is a school or personal issue she is extremely helpful. The class is beyond interesting and shes so laid back, it's actually fun. It's a fun easy class but you deff. have to keep up with out of class reading to pass the few tests. Highly recommend her!

You must read the books in order to do well. Make sure you are in class when she goes over Berger. Loved her lectures, but HATED that she only gives 2 difficult tests. As a person, she's wonderful.

She test you on everything she talks about during lecture, BUT the majority of the test is on things she did not mention from the book. You MUST READ to do well in this course, and study EVERYTHING on your own. There were only TWO exams in her class, so make sure you do well the first time.

Her lectures are enjoyable and very entertaining. The downside to her class though it that there is only a midterm and a final-NO homework, NO assignments, nothing other then those 2 tests that determine your grade.

She's super easy to understand but you kind of walk out of the class wondering what the heck you learned. Great if you are only in the class to pass and get out but not if you really want to learn it. Bonus, she cancels class alot, downside, only three exams and nothing else so if you dont pass one youre screwed

Easiest class ive ever taken. Tells you exacty what to study, gives you the answers to everything. If you put forth the smallest amount of effort you will pass with an A. downside, only 3 exams so if you do poorly on one, you have no quizzes or ec to make it up.

Massive research proposal is due near end of semester. Start on it ASAP and you'll have a much more enjoyable time in class while everybody is freaking out about picking a topic and there you are fixing commas ;) As for tests and class material take her notes review them and you should do fine. Probably one of the most helpful teachers too.

I am not a big fan of this class. She gives you two test, a midterm and a final, so if you mess up on one of them you're screwed, and I will definetly never take a class like that again. The only good thing was that she missed class very often and let class out very early. I passed the class, but it was just a tedious and bad experience.

She's a grat teacher. The class is pretty easy too. Whatever you do though: DO NOT TURN IN THE FINAL PAPER A MINUTE LATE!! literally! 3 minutes late dropped my high A in the class, right down to a B. Oh well,.. but aside from that, great class, great teacher.

She is one of the best sociology teachers i have ever had, i would definitly reccomend taking her for any sociology class she is teaching especially womens issues!!! She is great, whoever said she wasnt probably got a bad grade or something.
